PRESIDENT Michael S. Yu earned his B.A. degree from the University of California at Berkeley and his J.D. degree from the University of Santa Clara School of Law. In addition to being appointed by the Los Angeles Superior Court to serve as Temporary Judge and Court Arbitrator, Mr. Yu has received accolades for his many years of service to the greater Southern California Community.

In the mid-eighties, Mr. Yu became a member of the California State Bar and American Bar Association. Since then, he has gained membership into various associations such as the Southern California Chinese Lawyers Association, the Los Angeles Consumer Attorneys Association, Consumer Attorneys Association of California, Los Angeles County Bar Association, and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. He is also a member of the Federal District Court, Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Supreme Court of the United States of America.

Giving back to the community, Mr. Yu has been serving as a Temporary Judge in various courthouses throughout Southern California. Because of his dedication and commitment to his craft, Mr. Yu believes his legal victories are, above all, victories won on behalf of his clients.

The People's Republic of China's Ministry of Justice has issued a license for Michael S. Yu, A Law Corporation, Shanghai Representative Office, USA to operate its office in Shanghai. The opening of our office in the world-class city of Shanghai demonstrates the commitment of Michael S. Yu, A Law Corporation, to meet the needs of its clients in China, Asia, and the United States.

Mr. Yu is the author of 'Victory at Hand', published in Los Angeles, California. His other book, 'Law in America' has been published by Jiao Tong University, one of the leading universities in Shanghai, China. His radio talk shows on KAZN AM1300, AM1600, and KMRB 1430 have provided topics of legal interest to many listeners and have become well known and respected in the Chinese American community.
